Pilates on Northlakes offers a very personal and caring approach allowing clients to feel comfortable and relaxed.
From your consultation a programme is designed specific to your body's needs and your goals. During each session you will be guided through your exercises and recommended specific exercises to be further repeated at home between sessions.
Semi private sessions have a maximum of 2 clients and are 45 minutes in duration. This allows for constant monitoring making sure each and every exercise performed is executed to the best of the clients ability. Attention to technique and the principals of Pilates being the key to achieving results.
Private sessions are also available. 30 minutes or 60 minutes in duration.
The studio caters for all ages and all fitness levels specialising in Pilates for Injuries and Pathologies, Acute and Chronic Pain, Osteoporosis and Seniors.
Pilates classes incorporate the use of the Reformer, Cadillac, and Wunda Chair as well as smaller pieces of equipment such as the Spine Corrector, Pilates Ring, Foam Roller and Stability Ball.
INJURIES - PATHOLOGY - REHABILITATION
Pilates can be used as an important tool to help the body recuperate after an injury. Pilates focuses on correct alignment, strengthening deep stabilising muscles and promote flexibility. Pilates helps to teach the body more efficient and balanced movement patterns.
